Statement of privacy
The understanding of privacy changed heavily since the rise of the Web 2.0. In my opinion nowadays we have to protect our privacy in a level of discretion we choose by our own. There is a way to surf anonymously via Tor or to send encrypted messages via PGP/MIME. If you care about secure communication have a look at the Contact page.
Unfortunately Facebook evolved to a social network which is inevitable for people connecting via the internet - especially when working as an internet engineer or studying in the field of informatics. My Facebook profile is only accessable to friends but you are welcome to become one.
Like Facebook Twitter is an interesting phenomenon. The principle is simple - keep everyone up to date. The usefulness is arguable. But sometimes it is fun just to know what's on other peoples mind. See the Contact page to follow me on Twitter.
